YORK, Maine — The Richie McFarland Children's Center (RMCC) will hold its 18th Annual RICHIE Golf Tourney on Thursday, June 3, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. at the Ledges Golf Club in York, Maine.

Entry Fee is $150 per player or $600 for a foursome, the fee includes green fee, cart, gift bag, boxed lunch and dinner buffet. Many raffle prizes will be available along with a live auction during dinner. There will be contests throughout the day including Beat the Pro, Putting Contest, Closest to the Pin, On the Green and Hole in One.

DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire women's soccer golf scramble will be held June 11, 1 p.m., at North Hill Country Club in Duxbury, Mass.

The entry fee for the scramble is $100 per player and includes lunch, a cart, greens fees and dinner. Those who do not wish to golf can sponsor a hole for $100 or make a donation of their choice.

DOVER The Children's Museum of N.H. will hold its 24th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, June 15, at Dover's Cochecho Country Club. The tournament will be played in a scramble format with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The registration fee of $150 includes 18 holes of golf and carts, a pre-tournament lunch and post-play cocktail hour in the clubhouse. The tournament will also feature team and individual prizes, a closest-to-the-pin prize, 50-50 raffle and a silent auction.

LACONIA — The Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce will hold the 14th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 21 at the Laconia Country Club. PThe event kicks off with registration and a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Awards lunch buffet will be held from 1-2 p.m. The tournament will be played in a scramble format and will feature hole-in-one prizes, a putting contest, longest drive contest and numerous raffle prizes.

Registration is limited to the first 30 teams. Only $125 per player or $500 per team. Singles and pairs will be combined to make four person teams. Golfers Day Packs can be purchased for an additional $20 per person.

DOVER — Riverside Rest Home in Dover will hold its fifth annual golf tournament on Tuesday, June 22. The proceeds of the event will be used to benefit the residential life programs at Riverside, the Strafford County nursing home.

The event will be held at the Cochecho Country Club, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9 a.m..

The cost per golfer is $125 or $500 for a foursome. The price includes a round of golf with a cart, gift bag and a buffet luncheon. Various raffles and prizes will be awarded during the day, including cash prizes for the first, second and third place teams.

BARRINGTON — The Homemakers Health Services 35th Anniversary Celebration Golf Tournament will be held July 15 at Nippo Lake Golf Club in Barrington.

Somersworth hockey tournament

SOMERSWORTH — The Somersworth High School Hockey team will host a golf tournament at The Oaks Golf Links in Somersworth on July 30 with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

The tournament will be a four person, team scramble format that includes a luncheon at the Hide Out Grill. Prizes and raffle items will be included.

All proceeds will help benefit the Somersworth High School Hockey Team. All merchants have the opportunity to sponsor this event, with several options.
